Counsellor, BA, MC, RCC
(she, her)
As a Vancouver-based Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), my practice is anchored in both professional expertise and personal experience. Holding a Master of Counselling, an Honours Degree in Psychology, and with over a decade of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist, I bring a unique perspective that integrates a profound understanding of holistic well-being. Specializing in issues such as anxiety, grief and loss, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and significant life changes, I am privileged to support individuals and couples through their most challenging times.
My approach to counselling is deeply shaped by my own journey. Having experienced the transformative power of an empathic therapeutic witness and supportive ally, I appreciate the vital role that empathy, compassion, and genuine connection play in navigating the complexities of the human experience. Counselling has profoundly enriched my relationships, both with myself and others, making them deeper and more meaningful. Neuroscience underscores these changes, revealing how therapeutic relationships can rewire the brain, leading to improved emotional regulation and stronger interpersonal connections.
Beyond my professional life, I find joy in cooking, skiing, staying active, and cherishing moments with loved ones, including my beloved 18-year-old cat. These personal interests help me stay grounded and balanced, allowing me to bring warmth and relatability to my practice.
